Welcome to the 5th Workshop on Intelligent Music Production
The 5th Workshop on Intelligent Music Production will be held by the Digital Media Technology Lab at Birmingham City University, Birmingham, United Kingdom. As with previous workshops, we will be bringing together the worlds of academia and industry to discuss the future of music technology. The conference gives a forum to discuss the cutting-edge tools and processes used in the real world, how research and development is shaping the industry and provide feedback from our peers and collegues on a global scale. The day will consist of a mixture of presentations from academics and invited guests, posters from research paper submissions and a panel discussion.

DAFx 2019 is being held in the same week as WIMP (Monday 3rd to Friday 6th September). This unique opportunity to dovetail both events together will allow an even greater audience to look at the role of the workshop and forge new relationships with the wider community.
